Prostate Care Ingredients
Prostate Care has the following ingredients:
Saw Palmetto Berries: may act as a diuretic and urinary antiseptic. It may stimulate the appetite and inhibit the production of dihydrotestosterone, a hormone that contributes to the enlargement of the prostate. May also enhance sexual functioning and desire.
Pygeum Africanum: is a large evergreen tree native to Africa, where it has been used for a variety of health compliments. The purified fat-soluble extract of the bark of Pygeum Africanum has demonstrated clinical efficacy similar to the extract of saw palmetto. The mechanism of action appears to work via its inhibition of cholesterol uptake by the prostate, antagonizing testosterone, and reducing prostate inflammation.
American Ginseng: may strengthen the adrenal and reproductive glands. American Ginseng is believed to enhance immune functions, promotes lung functioning, and stimulates the appetite. It has been used for bronchitis, circulatory problems, diabetes, infertility, lack of energy and stress, has been used by athletes for overall body strengthening.
Bearberry Extract / Uva Ursi: may increase the flow of urine and may have a sedative and tonic effect on the bladder wall. May act as astringent, diuretic, tonic. Bearberry is believed to help to reduce accumulations of uric acid and to relieve the pain of bladder stones and gravel. Has been used help to alleviate chronic cystitis. It may also help where bedwetting is a problem.
Pumpkin Seed Oil: contains B vitamins, essential fatty acids, protein and zinc. Has been used by many for prostate disorders. It may act as anthelmintic. Pumpkin Seed Oil has been used for healing wounds, especially burns and chapped skin.
Natural Progesterone: derived from the Mexican wild yam root or soy. These sterols are processed through several fermentation steps to yield progesterone which is believed to be identical to the progesterone produced by the human body.
